THese classes will be held a the Margaret Mitchell House site. Time to fulfill that New Year's resolution to put that great idea for a movie down on paper! AJFF Announces 2009 Lineup |

| The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival has announced the 2009 lineup of 48 films with a Jewish twist. Featuring documentary and narrative films from 20 countries around the world, this year’s AJFF is sure to offer something for everyone. 2009 featured films include Hello Goodbye, a French romantic comedy about a married Jewish couple living in Paris who flee to Israel during a midlife crisis, and Strangers, a narrative feature that traces the unlikely romance between an Israeli kibbutznik and a Palestinian woman who meet serendipitously on their way to the World Cup finals in Berlin.
Tickets and a full film schedule for the 2009 festival are available on www.ajff.org. Films will be screening at Lefont Sandy Springs, Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station Stadium 16 and at the Regal Medlock Crossing Stadium 18, the festival’s North Metro venue in Duluth.

Bentley Promoted to Digital Filmmaking & Video Production Department Chair at The Art Institute of Atlanta |

ATLANTA (GA) – The Art Institute of Atlanta recently announced Brian Bentley has been promoted to department chair of digital filmmaking & video production. In this position, Brian will provide leadership and vision in implementing and developing curriculum, manage the department’s student success initiatives, and advocate for the college and the department in industry and community relations activities. Brian will also serve as the general manager of WAIA TV, The Art Institute of Atlanta’s recently launched closed-circuit television station.
“During Brian’s tenure as assistant department chair, he displayed a passion for teaching, learning, and guiding students towards successful careers,” said Dr. Sally Parsonson, dean of academic affairs at The Art Institute of Atlanta. “We look forward to the seeing him excel in this new capacity.”
Brian has 20 years of experience in radio, television, and film. He holds a master of arts degree in mass communications: television and radio from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. |
